Olympic Supplements of Choice Awards

During each day of the 2014 Sochi Winter Games, National Nutrition will be picking a supplement that goes hand-in-hand with a specific event. We call these our 'Supplements of Choice'! We award a supplement with a specific sport and give a brief explanation as to why we think they do the best job for health recovery, energy or anything in between. 

Wednesday, Feb 12th 

Congratulations to Denny Morrison, of British Columbia who took Silver this morning in Men's Speed Skating 1000m - and thanks to his teammate, Gilmore Junio for letting him compete. Gilmore Junio had announced yesterday that he was giving up his spot in the event to allow Morrison to compete (Morrison did not qualify for this event after he fell during the qualifications). Gilmore said, "It's in the best interest of the team if Morrison races." Proving once again that Canadians are doing our Country proud at the Winter Olympic Games. Great job, guys!
